Ultimate BLT with ButcherBox

Ingredients
Sourdough bread
Heirloom tomatoes
ButcherBox Applewood Smoked Uncured Bacon
Avocado
Lemon herb mayo*
Salt & pepper

*To make the lemon herb may: in a blender, combine ⅓ cup mayo with a handful of fresh herbs such as basil, tarragon, parsley, chives and the juice of ½ a lemon. Adjust seasonings to taste.

Active Time: 10 minutes
Full Time: 25 minutes
Slice and toast sourdough bread with some Drizzle.
Heat a pan and add several strips of ButcherBox Applewood Smoked Uncured Bacon. With heat on medium, flip the bacon every so often until desired crispness is reached, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer cooked bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Next: assemble sandwich! Spread lemon herb mayo on one slice of toasted bread. Layer on lettuce, then top with slices of heirloom tomato. Season the tomato with a generous DRIZZLE, sea salt, and cracked black pepper.
On the other slice of bread, add half an avocado and season with lemon juice. Top the avocado with as many slices of crisp bacon that can fit. Smash the sandwich together, slice down the middle and enjoy!
