Whipped Ricotta Dip
Whipped ricotta dip is the ultimate crowd pleaser! This version gets an autumnal makeover with a brown butter apple topping, serve with toasted pita for the most delectable bite.

Ingredients
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 honey crisp apple, diced
1 small shallot, finely minced
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 cup whole milk ricotta
½ lemon, zested and juiced
1 tbsp Drizzle
1 tbsp honey
Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste

In a small skillet, melt butter over medium low heat. Add apples, shallots, and thyme leaves and cook until butter is browned and apple is softened, ~6-8 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
In a food processor, place the ricotta, Drizzle, lemon juice, lemon zest, and salt and process until light and smooth, ~1-2 minutes.
Transfer to a serving dish. Top with brown butter apples and a healthy amount of Drizzle.
