Caramelized Onion Gorgonzola Burgers with Dave's Killer Bread & Amylu

Summer calls for a great grilled burger with all the works: caramelized onions, gorgonzola crumbles, and a bun toasted to crispy sizzly perfection!

Ingredients

2 Amylu Caramelized Onion Gorgonzola Burgers

2 Dave's Killer Bread Burger Buns 

1 onion sliced 

1 tbsp salted butter

3 tbsp Sizzle

2 pieces of butter lettuce or romaine 

Salt and Pepper

Gorgonzola cheese

Mustard, Mayo, Ketchup, or any other desired burger toppings.

In a medium skillet on medium-low heat, add 2 tbsp Sizzle, and onion slices. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove pan from heat once the onions are jammy and caramelized. Add the butter and stir until melted.

While onions are reducing, fire up your grill and prep all of your favorite burger toppings, including the lettuce.

Once the grill is ready, add burgers to the grill and cook for 4 minutes on each side. While burgers are cooking, toast buns for 45 seconds to 1 minute on each side.

Assemble the burger, and top it with a big spoonful of caramelized onions and crumbles of gorgonzola cheese. Enjoy1
