Ingredients

Trader Joe's pie crust two-pack

8 apples of different colors (we like gala, granny smith, yellow delicious, pink ladies, and crisps)

¼ cup Drizzle

1 egg for egg wash

A few pinches of white sugar

Juice from half a lemon

Supplies

Parchment paper

Baking sheet

Instructions

Active Time: 15 minutes

Full Time: 45 minutes

Serves 4
1

Set frozen dough on counter top to warm up (don't heat!). Preheat oven to 350 F.

2

Thinly cut apples into ⅛" slices.

3

Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Dust it with flour. Use your palms and fingers to roll and press the dough flat. Any shape is fine—irregular is even better!

4

Arrange the apple slices on dough by color. Leave about 2" around the sides.

5

Fold the edges of the dough around the apples.

6

Mix one egg and brush it over the pie crust edges.

7

Sprinkle apples with granulated sugar and drizzle on that Drizzle.

8

Bake for 20 minutes. Rotate. Bake for another 10 minutes. ENJOY!
