How To: Fresh Herb & Olive Oil Cooking Cubes
These frozen Sizzle flavor bombs will change your cooking game in fifteen minutes. Prep and preserve your favorite herbs for the whole week and make every meal easier!
Supplies
Fresh herbs of your choosing (we used basil, chives, rosemary, sage, and parsley)
Ice cube tray (we recommend one with spaces that will allow for at least 1-2 tbsp of oil and your chopped herbs)
Instructions
Active Time: 15 minutes
Full Time: 2 hours
Select the herbs you'd like to use! We decided to use basil, rosemary, sage, chives, and parsley, but you can use whatever you like to cook with. Rinse, pull leaves off stalks as needed, and set aside.
Chop and mince the herbs to your desired size for cooking.
Place your ice cube tray in the freezer for ~2 hours, or until the olive oil cubes have frozen solid. Once frozen you can pop them out to use for cooking as needed!
