Cracking Cans with PBR: Onion Rings

Sit back, relax, and crack a cold one.

Ingredients

1 Sizzle Can

12 oz PBR Can

2 cups all-purpose flour 

1 egg beaten 

Salt + Pepper to taste 

2 large yellow onions, in 1 inch thick rounds

1 clove garlic micro planed 

¼ cup mayonnaise

1 tbsp Drizzle

1 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeeze

In a heavy-bottomed skillet or cast iron, heat 1 can of Sizzle until it's 375F.

While Sizzle is heating, whisk PBR, flour, egg, and salt+ pepper until fully incorporated and set aside.

In a small bowl or pint container, mix mayo, garlic, salt + pepper, lemon juice, and Drizzle until fully incorporated.

Once Sizzle is at temp, dunk onion slices into batter and flip until onion is fully coated. Add coated onion slices to the skillet with hot oil. Repeat until the pan is full (do not overcrowd).

Cook on each side for about 7 minutes or until golden brown and repeat until all onion rings are done.

Place on a plate with a paper towel to capture any excess oil from the onion rings.

Recycle both cans and enjoy!
